welcome to my little world.
..last saturday..
went to sentosa palawan beach for BS club's interaction day on saturday;)
had quite alot fun and knew quite some new friends there.haha
basically we played volleyball*yesh my favourite!!!HAHA* and frisbee.
as it had been very very long time since i last played volleyball(form2, haha), my hands got reddish and swollen and pain right after the game.HAHA
luckily my skills are still quite okay.hehe
all in all was quite an enjoyable moment.
after this gathering i didnt join them for dinner at vivocity.cos didnt know when pama coming to fetch me from ntu at night.
and luckily too i met a few indonesian new friends who also didnt join for dinner and goin back hall..haha

as mum already started a new job*but i guess she'll change work again cos the job environment there isnt that good, haha*, meaning no one at home to do those household chores, i have become like the "maid" at home..haha
like cooking, washing dishes*as usual*, go out tapao lunch etc..hehe
so this is the fired rice i cooked on monday
and i accidentally spoilt the cooking pan:(
the bottom like peeled off but luckily mum didnt scold me as she said the pan is of bad quality actually..
HAHA..pheewww~~
but i feel quite bad..
is like i cant even cook a proper meal:(
the rice was abit too dry but the taste was quite alrite..haha

went back college to take my a-level statement of results and lan subject cert*though i didnt need it as i study in spore, haha*
met up with mshow and msjade..
mshow just had her babyboy*congrats congrats!!haha* and msjade showed me this year's annual ball performances*AWESOME!!!*
had some nice chat but too bad didnt get to meet up msjanice:(
and mschoo&mstan already not in college..
mschoo went to china with her husband while mstan got a better job advancement..

yesterday went from ntu to changi to send hanley aka ahteo off..
he is going to study Law at University of Manchester..
neither tearful eyes nor sobbing, but only the best wishes and blessings for him..
*ah teo you must jiayou and take good care of urself there~*haha
studying alone in a foreign country can be tough and hard sometimes but brace urself up:)
like me, though i came late to ntu, though i suffer quite alot at the beginning, now actually im doing quite okay, despite the stressful studies and some intersocial relationship:(
fenwei also must jiayou!!
*and dont be lazy!!*HAHA
ya so back to the topic, me, weiheng&jessica took bus then mrt to changi airport..
reached there around 8sth pm, cos the journey was very long, almost 1.5hours!
then we went to meet up with tian, theresa, liyen, william, suria..
so we had dinner there and hanley's dad treated us:)thanks uncle!haha
after some chatting and photo-taking, we bade farewell to hanley as he and his dad went into the terminal..
was quite a 感伤 moment by then, i felt personally..haha
find that we are all very fortunate to have each other as friends..
though we never know if our friendship will last as long as we want, but we definitely care and wish the best for each other deep down in our hearts..
the friendship that i have with u all, i'll remember and cherish it with the rest of my life..
it's really hard to have good friends like i have during high school and college time..
i know it's time to move on and learn for myself, but i'll never forget this friendship that we have..really miss u all here..

so ya basically i missed my hall's business manager subcom meeting as i reached hall very late, by the time they already finished..
luckily nothing bad happened:-S haha..
but i missed the chance to get to know the rest of the subcom..
nevertheless, it's worthwhile:)
and then liyen and william came squatting at weiheng's place..actually they slept in the tv lounge..haha
we all had not enough sleep in the end..lol
and we had breakfast/lunch this morning at executive cafe here before me and jiashin went for lessons..
really appreciate and enjoy the time we had together:)

yeah im really really tired and exhausted these few days..
no to be accurate, this annoying "sleepy" syndrom starts bugging me since last few weeks..
sighz..
somemore i have 3days per week in which i have 830am lecture..
i always dozed off during the lectures dunno why:(
it's like im trying my very best to stay awake and listen and focus to what the lecturers are talking about but i just couldnt help it..
really hate this kinda drowsy feeling..somemore i need to catch up with the studies!!
oh no..
it's not as if i didnt get enough sleep(but maybe yes cos since i came here, my limit can go up to 1sth-2sth am..haha.which is quite trivial compared to others*duh*), but overall i get like 5-6hrs of sleep which should be enough..
aix..hope this wont happen that frequent again!!
*or maybe because the lectures are too boring~HAHA*
oya and these are the subjects i took in this semester:
1. Introductory Biology
2. Biophysical Chemistry(which is the one i most dislike cos it involves physics:( )
3. organic chemistry
4. biochemistry
5. lab(the experiments are from all the above 4 core subjects)
6. principles of econs(which is one of my electives, we late comers had no chances to changeTT, and also i missed the add/drop period where students can change their elctives, and i got less AU than my fellow coursemates:(, which means i have to take extra subjects as electives in the next sem to clear off my required AU, stress~~)
*sigh*
anyway, went for lunch with shuhui today(dear susu, i got a spore friend here who is also "shuhui", haha, but her chinese name diff from urs..teehee)at one of so-called high-class restaurant here named "executive cafe"..
haha, the food here are basically chinese cuisine like dimsum and restaurant style..
some are exp but some are also quite cheap!=)
e.g. i ordered a peanut porridge which only costs me $1.50!!
i tell you what, the food here are normally above $2, it's hard to get nice food beyond that price..haha

it's the first time i used spectrophotometer~
i was amazed as alot of my coursemates know how to use the device..
cos the lab lecturer didnt tell us what to do and how to function the thing..*what?!*

oyaya, one thing i really looked forward to is that my hols is gonna start from 20sept!!

mooncake festival celebration=)
12:31 AMNTU chinese society had organised its 中秋园游会 on last friday, and i attended this happy merry event with my friends=)
it was held at our uni's famous yunnan garden which is opposite to the Chinese Heritage Centre at NTU.
i heard ppl saying that the place is also open to tourists!!haha
so basically that day we saw alot foreigners and some china ppl(i doubt that they are not students or alumni here by their looks, haha), all having fun as there were not only various types of performances(like drama, singing, and the 变脸表演 etc) but also games stations where u could earn points, lucky draw which gave off laser printer, mp3, psp etc *WOW, haha* and the 许愿亭 where u could write down your wishes and tie them up to the strings attached to big trees there=)
there were also free drinks and some stalls selling fruits and ice creams!HAHA
&the place was superbly decorated!!with lotsa tiny little candles lined up along the pathways, lotsa beautiful lightings, and also the nice sculptures and monument and pagoda-kinda buildings at the yunnan garden!
all in all this is the first time i celebrated the mooncake festival away from home yet i enjoyed it a whole lot!!!=P

nite out~
11:33 PMto de-stress myself, haha, i joined my friends for a playing-candles outing on sunday night!=p *so as to pre-celebrate mooncake festivals, haha*
the few of us, me, jiashin, sinyee, tingyue, weishan and her friend noel just went to the staircase area near hall 16 to have fun!LOL
*i wonder if the candle leftovers were still there, HAHA*
we sure messed up the place a little but we dont care=)haha.
so that was a fun though bit childish night outing for us with candles and sing-songs=)teeheez..

today just went for a short first meeting of the chinese society's publicity for subcom and maincom..
got to know some ppl but most of them(there are only 10 subcom)are from AMCISA..
and today evening also just went for the interview for BS club social secretary subcom..
hope evrything'll be fine=)
tmr going to be the hall JCRC subcom interview and recruitment..

oya btw, susu, if you are reading this, our primary sch friends liping and zijian are studying maths&econs(MAEC)here!!saw them today after having meeting..it's so coincidently!!but really happy that i found them here=)and also do u rmb liechin??our SSI KRS senior last time..she's my next next next neighbour!!haha=)

the tougher shall make me stronger..
1:05 AMit has been the third week of my uni life here at ntu..
*im still adapting and learning*
haha..
for studies, needless to say, im still very lack behind and sort of blur-blur about the subjects that i have taken:(
but i think im doing better now though*cheer up fenwei!!*
at least this week's classes i can understand better than my first two weeks.
but still all are hard!
i need to speed up my study speed and enhance my memory~~:(
&i really need to buck up myself..
cos i know no one can help me and pull me up except me myself..
i knew quite a few coursemates here..
though not yet that close as they had already knew each other before term started due to the FOC(Freshman Orientation Camp)
but i must never give up myself!
so i promise myself to be strong!
must believe that i can do it~
cos i know im always that kind of person that is pessimistic and tend to lose faith and confidence especially when coming to a new place with all unknown ppl..
i lose confidence easily..
i scared of not being able to mix in and make friends..
and all sorts of thoughts..
but luckily, i do know a few closer friends from MSA(Malaysian Student Association)though we all diffferent courses=)
some friends knew during the medical check-up(all late comers)
some friends in my tutorial class(as we all might be in same lectures but different tutorial classes)
some friends from different course but same in SBS(not the bus, haha, but School of Biological Sciences)
and dont forget also friends from sunway college!=)haha
we all dont usually stick all time together as we have diff classes, stay diff halls, etc etc..
but friends do really help me ALOT!!

especially shuhui(dear susu i got a spore friend here same name as u!haha but diff chinese name)she really helped me alot by lending me notes, accompanying me the last one to leave the comp lab last friday(i actually was on the verge of giving up when i dont understand even a word during the lecture, and i saw like almost evryone else had started on their lab report right after the guidance from the lecturer..), eat lunch together sometimes, but unfortunately she's not staying in hall..but anyway, really appreciate the help i have gotten=)
i must really buck up already!!!
oya btw, as i mentioned before, i need to gain points to stay in hall..
so luckily i got a post in chinese society, which is the publication&publicity subcom(im in the group of designing board which i not really have the confidence:-S )
but it only gives three points
i need at least six points.and we cannot add the points together but to choose the highest point~
im going for interview of social subcom in BS club
and might try also hall jcrc(hall com)if still cant get points..
