welcome to my little world.
recently there are alot of stray dogs coming from no-where near my neighbourhood.
&today, they were caught*quite brutally*by some dog catchers who were all malays!!
OMG~
this took place when me and mum were just about to drive out for some grocery-shopping..
suddenly we heard painful barkings and cryings from the doggies!!*they were all quite big-sized*
and i quickly rushed out to see what had happened..
but i only saw some dogs were brutally pushed into lorry-kind of vehicle.
the ones that look alot like vans used to carry prisoners*with fences that u can somehow see the dogs inside*
as i didnt see the earlier parts, my neighbour auntie who watched them said they use chains to hook up the dogs' head and abruptly sent them into the vehicle..
i was very shocked to hear that!!!
that is very cruel!!to treat animals in that way!
and i wonder who were the people that caught the dogs..
i saw they wore some kind of "uniforms"
i hope that they are not some bad people..cos i once heard that there are people who catch those stray dogs and ill-treat them or even EAT them!!!
i do hope that they are some professional personel who are ordered by the municipal council to send the dogs to some other safe places like animal shelters..as it must be someone from our neighbourhood who complained about the disturbance caused by these poor stray doggies..
i felt sympathy for the dogs actually..
what will be their fate and what is waiting for them ahead?
i cant imagine..
even my neighbour said the dogs are bound to something unhamane this time..
gosh..
but my mum said luckily they didnt shoot them to death on the spot*i remebered i heard some noises that must be the shooting of these stray dogs at night when i was young*!!
but will they get better if they are being abused and beaten later on??
haix..
my mum said some stray dogs are actually dogs which are abandoned by their owners..
so, please, if u r dog owner, never ever abandon ur dog(s)..
imagine what they will cease to be..
lucky ones may survive, but unlucky ones...
and also, never ever buy urself a pet just out of sudden desire or want to try on something new, and then throw them aside..
that's why my mum never allow to buy me and sis dogs or cats as pets..
she scared we would ignore them someday..
then they'll be very pitiful.TT
so, if u seriously want to but one, please, be a responsible owner..
animals have feelings too~
anyway, back to the topic, the dogs here didnt really caused any trouble*as they have never attacked anyone here, nor barked non-stop in the nights, at least this is from what i know, but idk if there is any that i didnt hear of*
there are around 5-6 dogs accroding to mum as she saw them wandering around..
a huge amount actually!!haha
not that i wish them to be wandering around our neighbourhood, but neither do i want them to be destroyed!!
so just hope that they are really being sent to those respective places that take care of stray animals..
&just a small story here related to those stray doggies at my neighbourhood..
one day, i remember i was opening my house automatic gate using the automatic device, to let my sis in after she came back from school.
that time it was very stormy and rainy..
just when i quickly opened the gate, a stray dog*idk if it was also caught today*followed my sis in!!
cos it wanted some shelter from the rain.
i was very panicked that time cos a big dark-brown dog had entered the house compound.
as my mum hates to have any stray animals in the house, i had to went out and automatically opened the gate to "shoo" the dog out.
i can tell u that i felt very very sorry, to the very utmost extent just when i tried to chase the dog out.
i can still remember clearly now that the dog was looking at me with its watery and pleading eyes..;(
but i cant help it because my mum would scold me if i didnt get rid of it.
i guess maybe u can tell the awkward situation i was in that time..
i really felt very sorry to the dog.
i felt myself cruel and had no feelings.
it just wanted some shelter and protection in the rain.
and yet i coulnt help this poor creature.
so it walked slowly and obediently out of my house after i shoo-ed it out, gently..
if my mum were not in that time, i would probably let it have some rest there till the rain is gone..
i dont know why, but this event had somehow leave quite a heavy impact on me..
i curi-curi took the photo of the vehicle that drove the animals away..
p/s:there were also lotsa stray cats at the back alley of my house, much more than the number of the dogs.
i guess here is becoming like a "small heaven and refugee" for stray animals already though*gulp*

haix im gonna miss it, cos it's like the only thing that im looking forward to on weekend nights..hehe

but the happy thing for my dad is that he doesnt need to help us tapao dinner every sturday and sunday.*cos obviously we just got stuck to the tv screen without leaving, muahaha*

yeah, that's a new shopping mall located at taman sutera utama..just next the famous restaurant pekin.
haha
been there yesterday as it's quite near to my house.
have to by pass bukit indah and nusa bestari..
the main reason that dad bought us there was that there is a new carrefour in that building..
so we just went there to shop for some groceries=)
i swear i didnt know that there are so many outlets there until the moment i stepped into it..haha
i thought it is some kind of small mart like perling mall or bestmart or kipmart.
LOL
but i turned out that i was wrong.very wrong!
why?
because u can see alot high-rated shops there like levi's, mixit, summit, macoca etc..*though there are some still under renovation*
and there is an area called "trendy zone" which is totally like "inner city" at city square!!
yea i dont bluff u..it's real!!
haha.
but yesterday we didnt really shop for clothes there.
just walking around and fed my eyes with the new surrounding and shoplots..hehe
maybe next time we perling or nearby ppl can shop there..ahaha..
but there'll be yet another new jusco at bukit indah in the near future..
gonna see tough competition between them then..haha
anyway i had a yummy choco waffle yesterday bought at a shop called "fun hut" in sutera mall.nice~ :]
&&i had my lunch too near restaurant pekin.
it's called restaurant hwa mui..
my mum said this is their other outlet cos there is one originally near custom town area.
haha.the food is nice and quite cheap compared to other likewise kopitiam=)
their cup of coffee is as BIG as that glass of iced lemon tea
haha.*but u must order a big one.teeheezz*
&i ordered their "breakfast set" as my lunch meal.
funny eh?!haha
but it's delicious*wink*
and for today, i've been quite abit busy helping my sis in her project.
yes..AGAIN!!
haha..and this time it is her GEOGRAOHY school project
poor thing her, it's near the exam period but they still need to do all this.

sushi & dark knight
2:45 PMyesterday two great events took place..
LOL
firstly, went to shuying's place to learn the making of SUSHI from her.
i call her my SUSHI MASTER~
haha
coz the sushi we made are so so delicious=)
thanks to her guidance, i have finally mastered some of the skills in making sushi..haha..though im still bad at rolling the sushi:(
but my "master" said im already quite good as a first-time learner!teeheez..
so first, i drove to her place(around 10.30 in the morning)to pick her up and together we headed for perling mall to buy some ingredients=)
as shuying already had most of them, we bought only the seaweed and the japanese cucumber..
and because i have to rush home around 1pm, shuying suggested that she go soaked and cooked the rice beforehand and prepared the other ingredients before i came..hehe
these are the ingredients:
the "special" japanese rice(called "pearl rice" in mandarin)-the brand is SAKURA(:
i remember shuying said soak the rice for an hour, then using the equation -- 1 cup of rice=1.5 cup of water, cook the rice as usual using rice cooker
mix the rice(already cooked)with japanese vinegar(one quarter of the amount of rice)..and do this under the fan as to cool the rice so that it is not too hot when u prepare the sushi=)*and oya, remember to add in the vinegar bit by bit(not add all in at one time)while mixing it with the sticky rice..hehe
cut cucumber, scrambled egg, crabmeat in long slices..
u can see from the above pic that there's a bowl of brown substances right?this is the packet of it which i dont know what's its name..muahaha..shuying said it is abit sweet but i tasted it abit salty.haha
the packet of seaweed(u need to buy this roasted seaweed in big pieces)the one we bought has 10 pieces in it
do not forget the yummy mayonesse=)*i think i spelt it wrongly :X*
what's this?!u may wonder, haha..*this is not holy water-just for laughs^^*
this bowl consists of the leftover of vinegar water--u might remember the cup we used to put in that one quarter of vinegar right?haha, very easy, u just need to rinse the cup into this bowl..u need to immerse ur hand in it before u could use ur hand to hold the rice as it is sticky..vinegar makes ur hand becoming less sticky when handling the rice=)
so yeap, u can start making the sushi!!(:
the surface of the seaweed on which u put on those ingredints should be the less shiny one, the smoother surface should be on the outside=)
one e.g. before the rolling part.lol
roll~roll~roll~(u might want to do it in a quick way to avoid the ingredients got scattered and not rolled in *winkz* )
u can cut one long roll of sushi into approximately eight pieces(with two of them being the "edge", which is shuying's favourite!HAHA)

i have finally finished the show=)
it's absolutely BRAVO!!
a very nice and enlightening japanese drama that really opened my eyes to those talented people in music!!
*how i wish i was as talented as they are~*
LOL
it brings me tremendous joy and happiness just to see them performing and enjoying themselves very much in music:)
though im not musically talented, haha(i stopped my piano since grade one, HAHA), it's great to engross myself*as if im in the orchestra, hehe*when they are performing..
and also not to forget to mention the sweet yet funny relationship between chiaki and nodame:)))
haha
overall it's a very very nice show that i wouldn't regret to watch it over and over again..HAHA
my heart does go out for them!!
haha.cant wait to be able to watch their special episode in europe=)

updates=)
3:36 PMit has been around one week since i last blogged a post..
haha..
well let's recall what i have done in that week..^^
1.went back to college(at last, haha)to submit my refund form last wednesday..according to the terms stated, i'll receive my refund in 2-3 weeks..lol..
also, i went to pass to zhemin my a-levels stuffs that i wish to sell off..haha..together with miss strawberry..mostly those past-year papers..and some ausmat books from janet..i doubt anyone would want to buy mine coz i had written alot on them..teeheez..but hopefully they can be sold:)
meanwhile, i also went to get the dvd recording last year's annual ball from ms.jade..haha..but the quality is not that good, i kept playing it but it got stuck starting from scene2..TT
anyway, i found that college is really becoming more active and lively as a whole..haha..not only the parking lot now is almost fully-parked everyday, alot activities and events are going on..for example they are having this so-called photo-shooting with professionals from 8tv that day..wow!haha..heard from ms.jade that dinega(i wonder if i spell wrongly>.<)got selected!haha..much congrats=)
in fact i am really glad to see that the student ambassador board is getting more active and creative(:though i am no longer a student from sunway college now.haha..keep it up guys!!
2.finally i finished Vampire Knight season1!!!!!yay!!haha..im super happy and cant wait for the release of season 2 man!there were only 13 episodes for season 1*not fair not fair*ahaha..this anime craze is really addictive~~haha..susu and emma will surely agree with me!

3.&&i am also finished with CAMP ROCK!!!*much yayness*
haha..i quite like the songs and story of it..
those who love HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL series(as i am, haha), u shouln't miss it!!lol

i found that i can be real concentrated and focused and determined when i wanted to do something very badly..haha
but in the end my mum did praise me a little bit by saying: hmm look quite nice..

at least someone other than me myself appreciated my hard-work..HAHAHAHA
though not really nice-looking, but im quite satisfied with it=]
coz at first i wanted to draw something on it, but i got only one fabric dye which is yellow colour..
so i just leave it as it is for now=)
yayness~~
can wear it next time i go out!
